Live Young.

Evian Ad

Evian has a new campaign for their water bottles...live young. I think this is a great concept and helps promote a healthy life style. Drinking pure, water and keeping your body healthy is important. Older people always talking about how they wish they would have been healthier in their 20s, or they want their old body back...this is what Evian is referring too when saying "live young" in my opinion. They play off that idea well by using an actual baby as the key part of the ad.

This is a very fun and goofy way to promote a product. Having something entertaining like this will leave customers with a positive image of Evian in their heads. Great idea!

I can't believe this actually happens! A new beer with a flash on the bottle to stop possible pictures from being taken. I can't decide if this is good or bad? It could obviously cover up mistakes and embarrassing moments, but it can also encourage bad behavior. I have yet to hear or see this product, but I am anxious to see if it makes it far.

Late Night Bite.

McDonald's has recently launched a new billboard in Vancuver to attract the late night crowd. The billboard is reflective tape that lights up when headlights beam upon the letters.

I think this is such a simple idea and smart because it does not use electricity. The board doesn't need lights above to show the message.

Also, its amazing that all McDonald's needs to do is write "Open all night." to attract people. The company is so well known and loved by many that all they need to do is place a subtle reminder to late night drivers, that they are open late. And just around the corner!

Make it Count

Make it Count.

Filmmaker Casey Neistat was given $10,000 by Nike to make an advertisement about their recent slogan, "#makeitcount". Instead of creating an ad, he took the money and travel the world with a friend until their money ran it. It only took them 10 days!
I think this is a unique idea, since in just five minutes you see a short video about how he changed his life. He decided to travel the world and take it count! Something fun, entertaining, and gets people motivated to move and fulfill dreams!
