Forever Young

21 pairs of shoes. 21 shots. 21 friends. 21 tubes of lip-gloss. 21 years old. Being 21 and young is what our culture strives to accomplish. The brand Forever 21 is my brand. Just like me, the store is young and flirty. They are up to date on the latest fashion trends and keep an upbeat vibe in their stores. Forever 21 embodies the idea of being 21 forever with the fun clothing and variety of affordable styles. As Gretchen Wieners from the moving Mean Girls would say, “That’s so fetch.” I would like to think of myself as full of energy and on the move. The store is always changing and getting new fashion ideas. I get bored very easily so the upbeat pace of the store keeps me interested. The employees are all young females with exciting personalities and quick to help. I am always helping my friends figure out their outfits for the weekend, like the employees help me.
This clothing store is different because it’s never in order and it does not have a specific style people think of. When you think of Abercrombie – you would think preppy look or graphic tees. When you think about Forever 21 – you think everything. They have a massive amount of variety from homecoming dresses to overalls. The store itself is an organized clutter. The jewelry has its specific spot but is hanging on the shelves organized like you would see at target. It reminds me of my room – my clothes are thrown all over the floor, but in an organized way. Having loud music doesn’t motivate the store to be organized. The music is always blasting and keeps you shopping to the beat. I am always blasting music in my room to keep the energy levels up of my fellow residence. As Jay-Z would sing, “I wanna be forever young,” the store Forever 21 helps me do so as well.
